Tough loss. Sorry about the lack of information and updates but it was raining and on a short clock so I was trying to watch and not get my phone wet at the same time.
The girls struggled a little on the wet field, although they did dominate the last 15 minutes of play they couldn’t get a goal to drop. Gabby played hard in the final minutes to create a couple opportunities but the girls were unable to meet the back of the net. Megan and Amaya played a stout defense on a few dump passes that tried to get past our back line. An unfortunate, unintentional hand ball just inside the box led to the pk(goal).
Sometimes the better team just doesnt win.
